Registration with instructor in person during class.
Ronan School District provides learning opportunities for adults who want to acquire a new skill, explore a new interest area, or enrich their personal or professional lives. Classes are open to all adults (18 years and older) in Ronan and the surrounding communities.
Be sure to register before you pay for your class!
Heads up! All classes must have at least 5 participants registered on the first day for the class to continue. Invite your family and friends!

- Pottery- A waitlist for new registrants is now in effect. You will be emailed a confirmation waitlist notification. The waitlist will be processed in the order in which the registration form was recieved. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Open Gyms
Open Walking Track-Weight Room
Evening Session: Mon. - Thur. @ 5:30pm-7:00pm
Location: RMS Event Center — Upstairs
Cost: Free
Get your sweat on! Walking track open to runners and walkers. Free weights, lifting equipment, bicycles, and more available in the weight room.

Co-Ed Basketball Open Gym
Tues. & Thurs., @ 7:00pm-9:00pm
Location: KWH Gym
Cost: Free
Hoop with the community. 5v5 games are played all night. Bring your sneakers and friends!

Volleyball Open Gym
Wed. @ 7:00pm-9:00pm
Location: RMS Event Center
Cost: Free
Beginners to experts, open gym volleyball is an activity for all. Bring your sneakers and your friends!

Pickleball Open Gym
Wed. @ 7:00pm-8:30pm
Location: RHS Gym
Cost: Free
Pickleball is a fun combination of tennis and ping pong played on a court. All levels of players are welcome, from beginners to experts, be ready to play with and against all! Equipment will be provided or bring your own paddles/balls if you would like.

Winter 2025 Adult Education Classes
Yoga & Meditation
Instructor: Julie Janssen

What to Bring: Yoga mat
This class will be offering yoga and meditation. Julie is a certified 200-hour yoga instructor, as well as an SEL facilitator, and will be incorporating numerous components of wellness into the one hour class.

Sally Bags: Columbia Plateau Basketry
Instructor: Eva Green
Mon. & Wed. @ 6:00pm-7:00pm
Location: RMS Library
Cost: $20 + $25 Supply Fee
Sally Bags are a Columbia Tribe's Art of weaving and geometrical designs. Bags are used for gathering. Supplies will be provided.

Pottery
Instructor: Michelle Mallon
WAITING LIST IS CURRENTLY IN EFFECT
Cost: $20 + $100 Supply Fee
Students will have the opportunity to learn a variety of hand built pottery methods including slab built, coil pot, and pinch pot methods. Students will also have the opportunity to learn how to throw pottery on the wheel. All students will be subject to a $100 supply fee to help cover material costs for clay, firing costs, and glaze.

Empower Hour
Instructor: Tawna Steele

What to Bring: Yoga mat, ankle weights, hand weights, sneakers
Empower Hour is your ultimate low-impact, high-intensity workout experience. This strength and cardio fusion class will challenge your muscles, elevate your heart rate, and leave you feeling unstoppable—all without the jumps or jolts of high-impact moves. This class builds strength, endurance, and confidence. Bring determination, and get ready for an exhilarating session that proves low-impact doesn’t mean low energy!

Flow Fusion Energy

What to Bring: yoga block, two mats, water bottle
Step onto the mat and into your power with this energizing and attitude-infused yoga flow class. Join me, I have 500 hours of YTT training however, let’s dive into yoga using a different lens. This class is designed to move your body and calm your mind, this practice blends fluid sequences with purposeful pauses to help you stretch, strengthen, and reset. Whether you’re a yoga newbie or a seasoned pro, this class will challenge and inspire you at your own pace. Show up, flow strong, and leave feeling unstoppable!

Tough Short Rows with the Toph

What to Bring: DK weight yarn in two high contrast colors (if one is multicolored it looks amazing!), size US5 needles, waste yarn, tapestry kits can be purchased at polkadotsheep.com
Knit a Toph by Woolly Wormhead! Lean provision cast on, German short rows, and garter grafting.

Dance Fitness
Instructor: Yuliyanah Rasidin
Mon. @ 6:00pm-7:00pm

Cost: $20
Dance Fitness is more like Zumba dance. It is a workout dance that combines dance styles with other exercises to provide a full body workout. It's a popular activity for many fitness enthusiasts because it is fun and can be suitable for people of all ages and skill levels.

Ronan School District No. 30’s Adult Education Program strives to re-engage program instructors and participants by minimizing the possible spread of COVID 19 and related illnesses. Our priority is to follow directives, requirements, and guidance from, RSD, Lake County Health Department, CSKT Tribal Health Department, and CDC. This is our plan for how we will proceed and prepare for program start-up.
